Barrister Nico HALLE was born on the 15th march 1957 in Santa, North West Region of Cameroon. Between 1965-1986, he did his Primary, Secondary, High School and University studies. He also undertook a series of training courses within this period which culminated to his swearing-in as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Cameroon.
In a bid to upgrade his legal knowledge, from 1986 to 2017, Barrister Nico Halle has attended several courses in Paris, London and USA as well as the Intellectual Property Conference that held in Johannesburg-South Africa. He has also been guest speaker in several seminars like the Commercial Lawyers’ Seminar in Washington, Corporate Lawyers’ Seminar in New York, International Conflict Resolution Seminar in Lagos, Conflict Resolution in North West Region of Cameroon and a Resource Person in Joint Ventures and Litigation in Washington.
Barrister Nico Halle is member to several organizations including the London Council of Arbitrators, Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, International Trademark Association (INTA) just to name a few. He has been the former Chair of the Transitional Advisory Team of the All African Conference of Churches (AACC) Nairobi-Kenya, former member of the National Elections Observatory of Cameroon, Vice President of Association des Mandataires agréés auprès de l’OAPI (AMOAP), Yaounde and presently an African Union Election Expert, Senior and Managing Partner of Nico Halle and Co. Law Firm and above all, the President of the General Assembly of the Cameroon Bar Association.
He is recipient of two International Honorary Doctorate Degrees and winner of several awards from many news organs in Cameroon like Man of the Year Award, Transparency Award and Peace Award.
Barrister Nico HALLE is married and father of four (4) children.
