Canada has pledged further assistance to the NCPBM in achieving its missions
Talking to reporters after the audience, the Canadian High Commissioner to Cameroon, H.E. Richard Bale said, in addition to being an introductive meeting for him, it was a follow up to the visit that the Commission carried out in Canada last year. He said since that time, the law on official languages in Cameroon has been passed, which is an indication that the Commission is doing its work. H.E Richard Bale who was also interested in the missions of the Commission indicated that Cameroon and Canada are both bilingual countries and have the civil and common law systems, so Cameroon there are some lessons that Cameroon can get from Canada’s experiences.
Present at the audience were the Vice President of the Commission, Oumarou Djika and the Secretary General, Chi Asafor Cornelius.
