Members of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (NCPBM) will embark on field missions to the ten regions of the country from Monday, 25th September, 2023.
The exercise, which will last 10 days, has been ordered by the Chairperson of the Commission, H.E. Peter Mafany Musonge, in accordance with the Plan of Action of the institution for this year, 2023, as approved by the President of the Republic.
The present field missions will take members of the Commission to all state universities, and defence and security training centres in the country, as well as to public hospitals in Cameroon.
The objective of the missions is to make an appraisal of the implementation of constitutional provisions relating to the use of official languages in the country in all the afore-mentioned entities.
