NCPBM MULTICUTURALISM DAY

March 4, 2021

The NCPBM launches a Multiculturalism Day within the institution.

February 26, 2021 will be remembered as the date of the first edition of the multiculturalism day of the Commission. Everybody related to the institution, that is, the President, Vice-President, members, the Secretary General and the staff came out in traditional regalia for the occasion. On the courtyard of the Commission a dance group was on hand with a display of dances from the different cultural zones of Cameroon.

Talking to reporters, the President of the Commission, H. E. Peter MAFANY MUSONGE said “we know that we have certain traditions within our tribes, ethnic groups, languages, which because of external forces, fights and copying, may die…so we are starting with this little step to show how gorgeous our traditions are, hoping that others will do the same.”

The cultural day will be celebrated within the NCPBM every last Saturday of the month.
