The Colloquium on ” Religions and the promotion of Peace, Social Cohesion and Living Together,” organised by the NCPBM, entered the second day this Thursday, 8th October, 2026.

Participants listened to presentations related to the dangers that some religious practices could pose as far as peace, social cohesion and living together are concerned.
The first plenary conference of four presentations had as moderator, Dr Pierre Vincent Ngambo Fondjo, member of the Commission.
The second plenary session had seven presentations, and was moderated by Pr. Abbé Jean- Marie Bodo. He is member of the Commission and President of the Scientific Conference. The Colloquium ends tomorrow Friday, 9th October, with a reading of the recommendations arrived at, by the Secretary General of the Commission, Dr Chi Asafor Cornelius.
