On Tuesday 23rd December 2025, M. OUMAROU DJIKA Saidou, Vice-President of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (NCPBM), sitting in for H.E. Peter MAFANY MUSONGE, President of the Commission, (who was unavoidably absent) chaired the Second Biannual Session of the Institution for the 2025 financial year. The Session which started at 11 a.m., was held in the Conference Room ‘A’ hall of the Yaoundé Conference Centre. All the other Members of the Commission took part in the said session.
Dr CHI ASAFOR Cornelius, Secretary General of the Commission was secretary of the session.
After the adoption of the agenda, deliberations ensued on the items inscribed therein.
At the end of the session, the deliberations were sanctioned by:
- the adoption of the minutes of the NCPBM first binannual session for the 2025 financial year;
- the adoption of the Annual Activity Report of the Commission for the 2025 financial year;
- the adoption of the 2025 Report on the Implementations of the Missions of the Commission;
- the adoption of the 2026 Plan of Action for the NCPBM.
The session ended at 2.30 pm and the Vice-President of the Commission, presiding official of the Session thanked the Members for their effective participation and contribution to the deliberations. He also congratulated the Secretary General of the Institution for the quality of the documents submitted for examination by the Commission.
