This was during an audience granted the Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon by the president of the NCPBM.
For close to 30 minutes, the Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon, RAN GIDOR was received by the President of the NCPBM, Peter MAFANY MUSONGE accompanied by his close collaborators, the Vice President, OUMAROU DJIKA and the Secretary General, Dr. CHI ASAFOR Cornelius.
Talking to reporters after the audience, Ambassador RAN GIDOR said he was honoured to meet the President of the Commission and his colleagues, to express his first-hand impression on the important work they are doing.
He said the Israeli Embassy together with the rest of the International Community think that the work of the Commission is critically important not just for Cameroon but also for the entire region, adding that they wished the Commission success. H.E RAN GIDOR announced that they are starting a mentorship programme in Cameroon, which will contribute to dialogue at the grassroots.
He concluded that their discussions were fruitful and he was sure there will be more opportunities of cooperation with the Commission.
